EDU53753 Week 4 Professional Development Plan

How might you structure this component of your plan? Refer to the research provided (articles listed above) to support your work. Shi, et al. (2025) researched how professional development programs helped the teachers fix the technological competence gaps and the psychological strain for technology integration that the covid pandemic created. The TPACK framework guided teachers integrating technology or designing professional development plans. Teacher’s digital self-efficacy helps with pedagogy competence and work engagement. When teachers are confident using technology, they become more effective. Self-efficacy is protective against teacher’s emotional exhaustion. Zimmer and Mathews (2025) explained professional development opportunities do not produce change when the teacher is dissatisfied, and coughing is critical element of school-based professional development because coaching takes into consideration the teacher’s background and experience. EDU 5373 Week 3

Week 3 – Development of a shared vision for technology access and use. 1)     From the Crompton (2023) article, describe at least two best practices to support student learning gains from educational research reflected in the ISTE Educator Standards. How might these connections assist you in guiding the development of a Technology Vision for your district or organization based on the identified digital divide(s) you have identified? Crompton (2023) study suggested technology alone doesn’t improve learning; it must be matched to the appropriate content and pedagogies by the educators. Several organizations such as InTASC, ISTE, UNESCO had developed standards to support educators with the integration of technology into education. Technology is changing rapidly and educators have implemented technology tools guided by ISTE standards (International Society for Technology in Education, 2026a). EDU 5373 Tubbesing's Week 2 -digital leadership, resources, and frameworks.

WE ·            Who are the stakeholders that you would reach out to first to develop a technology integration plan? Try to be as inclusive as you can. I am currently working as a psychiatric consultant for hospitals in rural areas. They are critical access hospitals, which means they have 25 beds or less and are at least 35 miles from a major city. There is great need for psychiatric providers in rural areas.   I had a meeting on 03/24/2026 from 10-11 am with the stake holders of this adding outpatient psychiatric telehealth services to the Anadarko area: Lindsey Nacey, AVEM Marketing Manager. Brandy Vogt, AVERM Credentialing Specialist. Brandice Walter, AVEM Operations Coordinator. Hunter Thoms, Rural Wellness Fairfax, Inc. Allicia Miller, AVEM Clinics scheduler. Carley Mcintruf and Terry Weed from IT department. ·          How might technology integration be aligned with...

EDU 5353 Week 2 digital divide context

Digital divide context ·                      What “dividing factors” might be impacting community members in your context? Who is impacted by digital inequity?  According to the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) (2026) more than 1,900,000 Oklahomans live in communities without enough mental health professionals , cost was the most prevailing factor for not receiving treatment, one in five Oklahomans experience a mental illness each year, and 195,000 adult Oklahomans have serious mental illness. According to Mack, Whetsell, & Graves (2022) rates of mental illness in rural areas are like the urban areas but suicide is nearly twice in rural communities. Barriers to mental health care in rural areas can be grouped into the following three groups: Availability: fewer providers to include psychiatrists , psychologists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and soci...
